The Smilansky Hadera project is at the forefront of urban renewal, breathing new life into the cityscape with a blend of modern living spaces, green public areas, and community-focused amenities. This transformative initiative promises to invigorate the city of Hadera by creating a vibrant, sustainable, and connected neighborhood, tailored for contemporary urban life.
“Mashkenot Ha’Omanim”
“Ramon” Elementary School
“Ramon” Elementary School stands within the Sharid neighborhood of Migdal HaEmek, perched gracefully on the mountain’s slope. The design challenge was to craft a schoolyard that was not only of the highest quality but also readily accessible, despite the neighborhood’s demanding topography. The solution needed to ensure that the connections to adjacent public structures were both preserved and enhanced, integrating seamlessly with the school’s inviting environment.
Elementary school “Julis”
Nestled in the heart of Julis, this innovative project merges a school complex with creatively tiered outdoor areas. Despite the space limitations, these areas seamlessly extend from the building’s interior levels. The courtyards are designed to be diverse, with each tailored to facilitate a variety of educational activities that resonate with the school’s pedagogical ethos. The design meticulously curates a range of spaces conducive to movement and learning, serving the needs of both students and the educational team, and ensuring the open space within the school’s grounds is utilized to its fullest potential.
Kindergarten cluster “Melchat”
Kindergarten cluster “Melchat” present an innovative design where environmental harmony converges to create spaces for children to explore, learn, and grow. Our project showcases a stunning tipi-style playhouse nestled within a verdant oasis, alongside a sculptural, circular fortress that stands as a centerpiece, each crafted from sustainable materials that pay homage to the surrounding nature. These play areas are meticulously integrated into the landscape, featuring climbing walls that offer challenges, gardens that inspire, and shaded retreats that provide comfort for supervising adults. Safety is paramount, ensuring these playgrounds are a secure haven for playful adventures. Our playgrounds serve as a model for blending ecological sensitivity with recreational ingenuity, offering a unique experience that ignites the imagination and fosters a connection with nature.
Rupin-Motskin-Arlov complex
The complex represents a significant urban renewal initiative, comprising approximately 300 housing units. Situated at a pivotal junction of main thoroughfares in Petah Tikva, the development integrates residential, commercial, and employment spaces, as well as public buildings. Particular focus is given to the expansive open areas surrounding the structures. These open spaces facilitate the creation of a visually appealing environment that lays the groundwork for a vibrant urban life.
Bicycle path “Namir”
Namir Road serves as a primary thoroughfare for Tel Aviv’s traffic flow. The designated bicycle path stretches from Props Street in the north to Einstein Street in the south. This project is a crucial addition to the existing bicycle path network around Namir Road, aiming to improve bicycle traffic connectivity throughout various city sectors. The initiative includes the paving of a dual-lane bicycle path and a pedestrian pathway, coupled with an extensive landscaping overhaul that features the significant addition of a tree-lined avenue along the entire stretch.
“Shamir” High School
The project located in the Yitzhak Shamir neighborhood, nestled in the eastern sector of Nahariya. This educational institution boasts 48 classrooms. In designing the schoolyards, form and aesthetic were just the starting points. The landscape architects crafted multifunctional outdoor spaces that serve as external classrooms and areas conducive to both group and individual learning activities. In developing these spaces, careful consideration was given to ensure harmony with the design and function of the nearby police stations and the adjacent streets, fostering shared functions that benefit both the school and the community’s safety infrastructure.
“Eucalyptus”
Located in the eastern sector of Hadera, this urban renewal complex features a multi-story structure hosting commercial spaces, residential units, and public facilities. The development extends beyond the ground level, with landscaping efforts culminating in a stunning rooftop garden.
